Ana Antunes
(She/Her/Hers)
Ana (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC) with over 16 years of experience supporting children and families. She brings a client-centred, trauma-informed, and compassionate approach to her work.
Ana holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and worked for more than 10 years at a nonprofit agency in her home country of Portugal. Since 2021, she has also supported children, youth, and families affected by complex trauma (C-PTSD) within a nonprofit setting.
Ana is passionate about using Play Therapy as her primary approach with young children. Her work is influenced by Carl Rogers, Dr. Garry Landreth, and Lisa Dion. Through play and a safe therapeutic relationship, she helps children strengthen their coping skills, decision-making, self-control, confidence, and sense of competence. She also provides parent and caregiver support throughout the therapeutic process.
Ana works with adults and couples using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based approaches. Drawing on attachment science, she supports clients navigating relationship concerns, dating, marriage, separation, and divorce.
Outside of her work, Ana is a divorced mother of two teenagers whom she co-parents. She enjoys yoga, spending time in nature, discovering coffee shops with a good book, taking long walks while listening to podcasts, biking, and spending time with her children and friends.

Andy (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters of Counselling from The University of Victoria. With over 6 years of experience in the mental health field, she has worked in diverse settings including supportive housing, youth care homes, harm-reduction services, and addiction treatment programs.
Andy approaches counselling from a holistic, trauma-informed perspective. Nilou is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (R.C.C.), and holds a Graduate Degree in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Growing up as a sensitive child, Ryan learned to repress his emotions to avoid appearing weak. This experience led him on a personal journey of healing and self-discovery, ultimately inspiring his career in counselling.
